Fresh graduates in Beijing are taking home significantly smaller monthly salaries this year compared with their counterparts last year, the Beijing Morning Post reported Saturday. Figures show the average monthly pay is RMB1,233 in low-tier industries, RMB1,937 in medium-tier industries and RMB5,763 in upper-tier industries, compared with last year's figures of RMB1,101, RMB2,407, RMB7,817, respectively.
据《北京晨报》30日报道，2010年北京应届毕业生月工资低位数、中位数和高位数分别为1233元、1937元和5763元，与去年的1101元、2407元和7817元相比，薪酬明显降低。

Another report on annual salaries for Beijing employees in 2009 shows that annual take-home pay was about RMB189,084 for those in the finance industry, RMB216,893 for those in the life insurance industry, RMB146,457 for those in the power industry and RMB118,276 for postal employees. The figure for many other industries was less than 100,000.
此外，京城新公布的2009年各行业人力成本显示，金融业人均年薪为189084元、人寿保险216893元、电力供应146457元、邮政行业118276元，上述行业的工资普遍高于其它行业。普通行业人员年薪多在几万元。
